An oral history of Sister Marie Vincent Doyle, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1910 until 1987. The interview was conducted by Mother Richard Ann Watson on February 29, 1984.
Sister Marie Vincent Doyle - born Ellen Doyle on May 13, 1891 - entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in April of 1910. She taught at St. Mary's School for Boys on the Seton Hill campus. She also taught at a number of other schools, including St. John the Evangelist, Holy Cross, Sacred Heart, and Holy Innocents, among others. Sister Marie Vincent died on April 19, 1987.
Mr. Charles Burkhart, an alumni from St. Mary's School for Boys, is recorded on the final three tapes of the interview to discuss his experiences at St. Mary's.
