An oral history of Sister Edith Marie Fullen, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1925 until 1993. The interview was conducted by Sister Brigid Marie Grandey on October 15, 1987.
Sister Edith Marie Fullen - born Mary Alice Fullen on November 4, 1907 - entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in September of 1925. She received a bachelor's degree in business education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1941 and a master's degree in supervision and administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1959. In the 1930's, Sister Edith Marie taught transcription, bookkeeping, shorthand, and accounting in a business course that she ran from Resurrection Parish in Brookline. She also taught at Elizabeth Seton High School, Seton Hill College, St. Luke's, and Sacred Heart. Sister Edith Marie died on July 14, 1993.
