An oral history of Sister M. Jeannette Weisman, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1934 until 1989. The interview was conducted by Sister Marie Corona Miller on August 23, 1987.

Sister M. Jeannette Weisman was born on July 8th, 1914 in Mt. Washington, Pa (Pittsburgh). Daughter of Leo Weisman and Jeanette Kane, Mary Josephine Weisman entered the community on March 25th, 1934 at the age of 19 as Sister M. Jeanette Weisman with her Reception of Habit on July 1st, 1934 and her Temporary Procession on June 28th, 1936.
Sister M. Jeanette was a speech therapist at Roselia Hospital in the Diocesan Child Center from 1956 to 1963. She then went to De Paul Institute from 1967-1970 as a speech therapist.
Receiving her bachelor's degree in education from Duquesne in elementary education, she went on to Seton Hill College for a bachelor's degree in secondary education. Then, she received her master's in speech pathology from Marquette University. Sister M. Jeanette was baptized on July 19th, 1914 and her Final Procession was on May 15th, 1949.
Sister M. Jeanette Weisman passed on June 1st, 1989 at the age of 74.
