My dear Sister
Only a few words as we are still in retreat. Our retreat will not be over until Sunday 23, as it did not begin until the eve of the 15th so we are still in silence. The "Election" is over and you missed being "Mother." by not being home. Aren't you sorry? Well never mind until the next time. You will have Sister Gertrude, Sister Adelaide, Sister Vincent. I was called away and will only have time to say, it is not wrong for you to go to E.E. for Altar beads, two of you might go in the Street Cars and stay All day next Sunday and the other two the Sunday after, of course you must be home in the evening, as it would be lonely for two in the house all night. I hope you are all keeping well, tell Sr. M. James to please bring half dozen Candidates with her when she comes back or she won't get to Pitts. soon again. Sister A. Regina is very good to us - only gave us some bread once. I am going to Cincinnati the last of next week will stop off to see you all.
Am glad you have Mass so regularly -
God bless you ever
Yours devotedly
