My dear Sister
Your letter recd some time ago and should have been replied to sooner but for reasons I feel a little ashamed to explain. Were you ever homesick? I am a little bit that way, although being so old I ought to be ashamed of it and I am ashamed. Well how is your school? I trust it is real good, and that you are getting along well - Am glad that S.M. Joseph is there.
She is a good child and a good teacher. Give her my love and tell her I am praying for her to get along nicely. She must write me all about her school when she can. Mother Josephine is still here and will, I think visit you before going to Cinti. How is Father T? Remember me kindly to him - I will expect him here to see me, if he is as near as Johnstown. Tell him so. S.M.X. clothes here not yet arrived, but will I am sure in time. I am delighted that you sent so many young ladies to Seton Hill. I believe they have a very good school there (Thank God). Mother Regina and Josephine (I mean S.M. Josephine) have just returned from a trip to Phila + N. York. I have not heard from them yet. They did not stop here on their return. Our school is only fairly attended. So many gone to the public school, so have very few in house yet. S. Guillame is still here. She expects to remain with the Bishop for some time.
Your crowd is smaller this year, isn't it? Let me hear from you whenever you can - I shall be always glad to hear that you are getting along nicely.
Fondest love to each dear Sister - May God bless and keep each one of you. Ask all to pray for me.
You ever devoted
Sister M. Aloysia
Please do not forget to remember me to the Sisters -
