An oral history of Sister Marie Cecelia Burns, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1930 until 1988. The interview was conducted by Sister Marie Corona Miller on February 17, 1987.
Sister Marie Cecelia Burns - born Cecelia Burns on August 12, 1903 - entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in September of 1930. She received a bachelor's degree in education from Duquesne University in 1944. She served as Principal at Our Lady of Mercy in Johnstown, and served terms as Principal at St. Philip and St. Mary Magdalene. She taught at a number of other schools and taught CCD classes as well. Sister Marie Cecelia died on September 21, 1998.
