An oral history of Sister Marie Anthony Flavin, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill from 1925 until 2000. The interview was conducted by Sister Marie Corona Miller on September 17, 1986.
Sister Marie Anthony Flavin - born Alice Marie Flavin on September 18, 1905 - entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill in March of 1925. She received a bachelor's degree in physical sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 1942 and a master's degree in biological sciences in 1948, also from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught at St. John the Baptist, St. James in West End, Elizabeth Seton High School, St. Anselm's, and more. She also served at the Elizabeth Seton Center in the mid-eighties. Sister Marie Anthony died on August 29, 2000.
